CURRICULUM

  • GOAL:

    • Offline, engaging, fun, self-learning, inspiring, simple, outcome-focused, practical.
  • CURRICULUM STRUCTURE:

    • 3 PROJECTS –Each project contains 4-6 “Trainings” /lessons.
  • OUTCOME:

    The outcome of:

    • Project 3 is a “Simple Business Website”.
    • Project 2 is a CV Website.
    • Project 1 is a Landing page.
  • SHARING:

    The projects were designed to be shared via Whatsappover a single, tiny file.

    • Because of this images and additional files are only introduced in Project 4.
  • DEVELOPMENT:

    The projection for the development of the curriculum is the have project 1-12.

    • So far 3 projects are complete
  • HTML CODE OUTCOMES:

    You will see 3 HTML files. Each of these is an example of the outcome of the respective project.

    • These can be used for both trouble-shooting, debugging and show-casing what the youth will build. It is up to you if you wish to share the “Outcome” files, as they are a type of “Answer Key” and could be just be copied by the coders.
  • HOW TO START:

    The 5-Minute-Websiteis the fastest way to get a class of youth coding.

    • Just print it out and hand it to each future coder.
    • No installations, no copying of files and offline.
    • In order to code on a tablet, we recommend the Dcoder app (available at Google PlayStore)
